Happy Father’s Day to all our dads! This blog post is dedicated to all our fathers and the positive male role models who shaped our lives!

This Sunday, join me in celebrating Father’s Day. This is a special celebration honoring dad, and the influence of fathers in society.

The benefits of having a positive dad are too enormous to list. A positive dad is a protector, provider and leader. The best expression I can use is as follow:

“Fathers are the champions of life. A home without a positive dad is like a team without a coach.”

When a father is absent and disengaged with his kids, the effect can be critical. It can adversely impact a child self-esteem and self-confidence. According to the U.S. census bureau, 24 million children, 1 out of 3, live without their biological father in the home. Consequently, there is a father factor in nearly all social ills facing America today.

More than ever, children need positive dads to guide and help them become responsible adults.

Fathers are the champions of life! A home without a positive dad is like a team without a coach. Positive dads praise their kids, boost their self-esteem, self-confidence, discipline in love, provide and protect. These are just few qualities of a positive father.

I thank God for my dad! The man I am today is a direct result of my dad’s love, sacrifices and hard work. He’s the champion of my life!
